Why You Should Hire an Insulation Contractor Vs. a General Contractor

If there’s one thing in your home that is going to help you save money, it’s your insulation. The best way to    get the most out of your insulation is to correctly install it. Proper installment guarantees a high R-value, no drafty crevices (which makes your heater or cooler work harder), and a longer lifespan for your insulation.

A general contractor probably knows how to install insulation, but he/she doesn’t know how to do it as we do. Our company spends its days working with insulation and installing it. We also have the knowledge that different types of insulation requires different installment methods, which are crew is able to do.

Hiring a general contractor can be risky because although he knows how to install Batt Blanket insulation, he might not know how to install Spray Foam insulation. Most houses on the market are incorporating both methods to get an overall high R-value for their home. That R-value can be greatly lessened if the insulation you use is of low-quality and it isn’t installed correctly.

Choosing Aurora Hills Insulation means you will be getting the most out of your insulation and the R-value of your home will stay steady through the years. No matter what type of insulation you choose, we’ll know how to install it correctly and efficiently. By choosing us, you’re choosing the best option for your home and your savings.

Visit Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge In Commerce City, Colorado!

Sitting just outside of Denver, Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge is one of the largest urban refuges in the country. With 15,000 acres of prairie, woodland, and wetland habitats, more than 330 species of animals call this land home, including Bison.

This unique and interactive open space hasn’t always been a refuge for animals, in fact, it first started out as a chemical weapons manufacturing facility called the Rocky Mountain Arsenal to support World War II. After the war, the Arsenal was used for Cold-War weapons production and demilitarization. Not until later years was the entire location cleaned up and designated as a national wildlife refuge in 1992.

Today, visitors are welcome to explore the area with 10 miles of hiking trails, catch-and-release recreational fee fishing, wildlife viewing, and a self-guided Wildlife Drive auto tour.

This refuge is a great place to take the family and learn more about Colorado wildlife. To learn more, visit their site at Rocky Mountain Arsenal

Insulation Quality:

One of the first steps in insulating your home is buying the insulation. With the different types to choose from and sources to buy from, it can be difficult to determine which type is going to be the best for your home and what quality the insulation is. Aurora Hill’s Insulation provides high-quality insulation to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your money. We also offer information about the different types of insulation you can buy so you know which will be the best for your home

High R-Value:

As we mentioned above, the insulation we provide bears a high R-value, which is the rate or measurement on which an insulating material’s resistance to heat flow is. Different regions of the country need insulation of different R-value because of the change of climate.

Our insulation is ideal for Colorado’s climate so that your home or business will be protected from outside temperatures. R-value can fluctuate depending on how the insulation is installed and where you purchased it from. Purchasing and installing your own insulation means that you might not be receiving the correct R-value from the insulation.

Insulation Equipment:

When installing insulation yourself, you will need to purchase the required equipment to install it. Different insulation requires different installment methods, so you have to be aware of the special equipment you need for certain types. Buying these tools and machines can get costly, so you’ll find yourself going with cheaper options. When doing so you are allowing room for mistakes and improper installment.

By choosing Aurora Hills Insulation Company you are choosing equipment that is used by professionals. Our machines allow us to install insulation with precision and little to no room for mistakes.
